PERRY HUNT graduated from Butler University’s Theatre department. She studied at The Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia and with various international artists in Indianapolis. Senior year, Perry presented a curriculum on theatre education for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders at the Undergraduate Research Conference.
She now is located in Chicago where she works as a teaching artist. Perry has taught with Auditorium Theatre, Idea Box Integrated Arts, and Chicago Children’s Theatre. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has begun teaching virtually. Through the platform Preply, she teaches one-on-one arts integration classes.
Perry co-hosts a podcast called Riff Raff Revolution, with Knavery Ink. The podcast interviews womxn, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC comedians about their careers, process, and the community.
Perry produces and writes for Stop Motion Plant an ensemble of storytellers performing theatrical works in Chicago. Stop Motion Plant is currently producing a masked, socially distanced project called Window Plays to be performed live on February 19th, 20th, and 21st in Andersonville, Chicago.
